This court was set up in Japan occupied time. After Taiwan restoration, the nationalist government took over it. The current address is 91, Section 1, Tzu Yu Road, Taichung City. It is located in town. The age-old schools such as Taichung Girl’s High School, Chu Jen High School and Ta Tung Elementary School are near the court. The court had 800 more employees in previous organization. In 2006 the caseload received came to a total of 35237 cases.

 Our court is located in central Taiwan . The railroad and highway provide very convenient transportation. For ocean freight there is international Taichung Seaport, and for air transportation there is CCK International Airport.
